POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Marriott International. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to guest requests and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards in public areas or guest rooms.
  • Deliver guest requests and set up furniture items in guest rooms as requested.
  • Remove items from hallways and transport to service areas, including debris, room service food and beverage trays, unread newspapers, soiled linens, and trash.
  • Clean and maintain cleaning equipment.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • No high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No related work experience required.
  • No supervisory experience required.
