At INRIA, we are seeking a highly skilled researcher to join our team in the field of quantum metasurfaces. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will be responsible for developing advanced numerical modeling tools to study the interaction of single photons and metasurfaces.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement high-order discontinuous Galerkin time-domain methods for simulating electromagnetic waves in nano-optics
- Collaborate with our physics partners to develop theoretical physical modeling and interpret simulation results
- Design and optimize quantum information processing metasurface configurations
- Ph.D. in Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong background in computational electromagnetics, finite element methods, and numerical optimization
- Excellent programming skills in Python and Fortran 2003, with experience in parallel programming
- Subsidized meals and partial reimbursement of public transport costs

€2746 per month
