Job Title: Media Relations Manager France

We are seeking a highly skilled Media Relations Manager to join our team in Paris, France. As a key member of our global communications team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with top-tier media outlets in France, as well as representing our company as a spokesperson towards both French traditional and digital media channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute media plans in support of specific business-determined priorities in France, working closely with other colleagues in Public Affairs, External Communications, and Country Communications.
  • Identify and manage local media opportunities in support of consumer brand launches, sustainability initiatives, and other business priorities.
  • Support local consumer brand teams with media advice and guidance in support of their Brand PR activities.
  • Monitor and measure progress of plans and initiatives related to France, providing regular reporting and analysis to the global media relations lead.
  • Liaise with and manage third-party suppliers, such as external communications agencies, for France-specific activities.
  • Monitor and prepare the company in advance of issues in France through digital listening and traditional networking.
Requirements:
  • At least 8 years of experience in a media relations role, with a strong understanding of the French media landscape and active relationships with relevant external stakeholders.
  • Native French speaking and a high level of proficiency in English (preferably bi-lingual).
  • Proven business acumen and deep understanding of the FMCG environment.
  • Strong skills in working on several complex projects simultaneously, with good crisis management abilities and negotiation skills.
