Mechanical Design Engineer

At Alstom, we're shaping the future of transportation with innovative solutions that reduce our carbon footprint. As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in designing and developing sustainable train interiors that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop train interior components using Catia V5 and DMA, ensuring optimal weight, acoustics, and eco-friendliness.
- Implement and apply project development procedures, catalogue, and standard solutions to drive efficiency.
- Optimize part designs to achieve cost targets and meet committed planning deadlines.
- Collaborate with external engineering subcontractors and site CAD engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Verify digital mock-up consistency, ensuring no interferences, equipment localization, and volume.
- Prepare design review elements with Lead Engineer support.
- Engineer educational background.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical part design.
- Excellent skills in CATIA V5.
- Better if knowledge of DMA.
- English speaking.
