Akeneo is a leading provider of Product Experience Management (PXM) solutions, helping businesses deliver exceptional product experiences across all channels and locales. We're seeking a talented Product Designer to join our Design team, working closely with product management and engineering to deliver exceptional value to our customers and users.
The successful candidate will lead product design activities, from discovery to delivery, defining plans, methods, and bringing squad members together during the design journey. They will also lead user research, design sketches, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI in collaboration with the squad and users.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading product design activities, from discovery to delivery
- Leading user research, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and co-creation methods
- Designing sketches, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI in collaboration with the squad and users
- Working closely with engineering to ensure high-quality implementation and outstanding user experience
- Co-designing with the squad and Design peers, soliciting and providing constructive feedback
- Contributing to the Design System, ensuring design consistency and raising the bar of user experience for the entire product suite
- Socializing design internally and externally, contributing to increasing design maturity across all departments and teams
Requirements include:
- At least 3+ years of experience in UX/UI/Product design, with a strong background in UX and qualitative research skills
- Significant experience designing in a B2B environment, ideally in a software company
- Fluency in English, as 70% of our customers don't speak French
- Comfortable using Figma
- Growth mindset, good emotional intelligence, and ability to adapt to change
- Experience working and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-growing environment
