We are currently seeking an Analytics Data Product Lead to join our Data Product Craft, a vibrant and diverse group of over 20 enthusiastic data analysts, data scientists, machine learning engineers, and data product managers, dedicated to advancing Dailymotion's offerings.
In this role, you will oversee various data assets and initiatives related to user behavior and acquisition analytics, as well as a self-service data platform, guiding their evolution and optimization. Your mission will be to transform raw data into actionable insights that empower business and product teams to make informed decisions, refine strategies, and reach their objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish the vision and strategy for your portfolio of data products, aligning with user needs and business goals. Develop and implement a strategic roadmap, incorporating key performance indicators to measure success and prioritize initiatives. Break down large data initiatives into manageable tasks.
- Acquire deep expertise in our data, understanding the entire data lifecycle: including how, where, and why data is generated and processed, its flow between systems, and the roles of data producers and consumers.
- Conduct exploratory analyses to identify user challenges and market trends, pinpointing opportunities to enhance our analytics products. Clearly understand which use cases and insights can be addressed by current data capabilities.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, developers, data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to ensure quality throughout the delivery process and bring the final product to fruition.
- Promote awareness and understanding of our data initiatives and their impacts across all departments through regular presentations and communications.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in product management with the ability to develop and maintain a strategic roadmap.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, database management, and data governance principles.
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong background in data analysis or data science as it pertains to product and business decision-making.
- Proficiency in English is essential for this position.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
- Commitment to diversity and effective collaboration in a multicultural setting.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with SQL.
- Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, Kibana, and Python is advantageous.
