Automotive Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Automotive Procurement Specialist to join our client's team based in France. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in the automotive industry and in-depth expertise in purchasing components related to cold forming, stamping, machined, turned, and forged parts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and select qualified suppliers to meet the specific needs of automotive projects.
• Negotiate competitive contracts in terms of price, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Monitor purchase orders and manage supplier relationships.
• Optimize purchasing costs while ensuring parts quality.
• Actively participate in the product development phase in close collaboration with technical teams.
• Analyze supply needs and define corresponding purchasing strategies.
• Guarantee compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to purchasing.

Profile:

• Higher education in purchasing, logistics, or engineering.
• Significant experience in purchasing automotive components, ideally in cold forming, stamping, machining, bar turning, and forging.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials used in the automotive industry.
• Excellent negotiation and project management skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in English. French & Chinese language skills would be a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in IT tools (ERP, Excel, etc.).
