About the Role

The Consolidation and Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for preparing fifty-five's consolidation, preparing and distributing various internal financial reports to the Group parent company and management on a monthly basis, and ensuring that all transactions and documentation comply with IFRS and US GAAP.

The company is expanding its international presence, with operations in 9 countries. The position is based at our Parisian headquarters.

In addition, the role involves day-to-day cash management responsibilities.

The Consolidation and Financial Reporting Manager reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage the preparation and distribution of internal financial statements and reports, maintaining the highest quality, reliability, and accuracy.
  2. Oversee the monthly reporting process, including reconciliations and analysis of related accounts.
  3. Coordinate the Company's annual audit with independent auditors.
  4. Develop and maintain the integrity of the financial reporting process and financial controls.
  5. Coordinate, develop, and update written policies and procedures over the financial reporting process.
  6. Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.
  7. Research and resolve accounting issues, including evaluation and implementation of new accounting pronouncements to ensure IFRS and US GAAP compliance.
  8. Manage daily treasury operations.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  2. Big 4 Accounting or similar experience.
  3. At least 2 years of experience with SEC disclosure and reporting requirements.
  4. Strong technical IFRS and GAAP accounting knowledge.
  5. Managerial experience.
  6. Experience with SOX 404 compliance.
  7. Knowledge of best practices in internal controls.
  8. At least 6 years of professional experience.
  9. Fluent in English and French.
