About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (M/F) to join our team at Astek. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure based on VMware.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to define requirements and develop cloud services
• Design and develop cloud infrastructure based on VMware
• Configure, manage, and maintain cloud infrastructure based on the technical foundation
• Automate cloud administration tasks to improve efficiency and reliability
• Handle incidents (N2 & N3)
• Write technical documentation
• Participate in internal projects

About the Team:

You will join a team that works daily to develop and maintain all IT solutions. The team interacts with both internal and external clients.

About the Tech Stack:

• Agile scrum methodology
• Linux OS (Unix/Debian/Redhat) and scripting
• DevOps tools: Gitlab (CI/CD), Jenkins, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker...
• Cloud computing knowledge (GCP or AWS or Azure...) and development skills can make a difference

About the Project:

You will be part of a proactive and versatile team working on a high-value project. The project involves creating and maintaining a high-performance, robust, and secure cloud infrastructure (IAAS) for one of our partners, a leader in Europe.

About You:

• Graduate in engineering or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Curious, proactive, with good interpersonal skills and a knack for problem-solving
