About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Drilling Engineer to join our consultant team for an oil and gas project in Tunisia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of drilling operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HSE leadership throughout the project life cycle, ensuring a strong focus on safety and process safety.
- Develop and execute complex plans to achieve top quartile results, with a focus on well costs and cost efficiency.
- Make informed decisions based on thorough analysis and risk assessment, utilizing strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
- Lead by example, promoting a high level of interaction across multiple disciplines and upholding the company's reputation.
- Stay up-to-date with new techniques and technologies to improve safety and operational performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline.
- Valid Well Control certification (IWCF Level 4 Surface BOP Stack or IADC Well SHARP Supervisor Level).
- Valid Medical certifications (e.g. Fit To Work).
- Excellent written and oral command of the English language.
