About the Role

VINCI Airports, a leading airport operator, is seeking a seasoned IT professional to join its headquarters in Nanterre. As a Global IT Director, you will play a crucial role in accelerating airport digitalization by leading transversal projects, providing IT expertise to airport IT departments, and driving innovation through IT solutions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Accelerate Airports Digitalization
    • Develop and implement common IT assets for the VINCI Airports IT community.
    • Manage business relationships with headquarters business departments.
    • Run transversal IT projects across airports in the VINCI network.
    • Provide guidelines and benchmarks on airport IT solutions.
  • Provide IT Expertise
    • Support airports IT directors/managers.
    • Provide IT expertise to airports for their major projects.
    • Review airports IT capex plans and provide advice/guidance.
    • Manage the VINCI Airports IT community (knowledge base, IT portal, communication).
    • Set, promote, enforce, and keep up to date IT standards and best practices across airports.
  • Support Business Development
    • Support business development teams in assessing new airports IT and determining IT investment plans.
    • Support and follow-up new business unit ITs in the implementation of their post-due diligence/transition action plans.
  • Innovation and Technology
    • Perform IT solutions and technology watch.
Requirements
  • Good knowledge of the airport business and airport business-IT solutions.
  • Experience in IT management roles with a good overview of build and run functions.
  • Senior expertise in IT: technology, processes, tools, and project management.
  • Leadership: autonomous and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Agile mindset and curiosity.
  • Team player.
  • Pragmatic and hands-on.
  • Coaching skills.
  • Good communication and relationship skills, networking skills (develop and maintain relationships).
  • Coordination and animation skills.
  • Fluent in French and English, Portuguese and Spanish highly appreciated.
