Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team in Octeville-sur-mer, France. As a member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex automated systems for industrial packaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated system programs and documentation in compliance with company standards, costs, quality, and safety rules.
- Program automation functions to meet specific needs based on project manager specifications and instructions.
- Contribute to technical decisions as part of a multi-disciplinary design study.
- Establish test and validation phases for designed functions.
- Commission, analyze, and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
- Write and maintain up-to-date documentation for system understanding.
- Provide technical support to production, methods, after-sales, training, and manuals departments.
Requirements
- Master's degree or engineering diploma in automation.
- Less than 2 years of experience after completing master's/engineering degree.
- Familiarity with programming languages in automation/IT.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams.
- Familiarity with main automation programming software.
- Fluency in technical English.

The Future Talent Program is a 16-month development program designed to provide a comprehensive and immersive experience for selected candidates. Through job rotations, you will explore different areas of our business worldwide, developing your knowledge and skills in a fast-paced and hands-on environment. You will be part of a global community and have a dedicated mentor focused on your growth, personal experience, and transitions.
After the Program
Upon completion of the rotation, you will join our engineering team in Octeville-sur-mer, France, where you will be responsible for developing automation for our equipment. Your role will involve designing and developing automated systems, programming automation functions, and contributing to technical decisions.
