Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Artisan Ice Cream Maker to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a vital part in crafting delicious and innovative ice cream and sorbet creations that delight our customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce artisanal ice creams and sorbets using premium ingredients, adhering to established recipes and quality standards.
• Execute pasteurization processes meticulously, ensuring strict adherence to hygiene regulations and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the master pastry chef to refine existing recipes and contribute innovative ideas for new flavor combinations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of raw materials and ensure efficient stock management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food production, particularly within the dairy, cheesemaking, or pastry industries.
• Comprehensive understanding of hygiene regulations and a commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail, precision, and accuracy in measuring and mixing ingredients.
• Strong teamwork skills and a collaborative approach to working within a production team.
• Prior experience in the ice cream industry is highly desirable.

Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

• A permanent contract with a salary commensurate with experience.
• A standard workweek of 35 hours, Monday to Friday, with weekends and holidays off.
• Rotating shifts: 7am to 3pm - 9am to 5pm (alternating weeks during peak seasons).
• Annual closures in August and December for a total of four weeks (during school holidays).
