We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Manager to join our Energy Management team in Paris.
About the RoleThis is a managerial position responsible for leading a team of data analysts to achieve department objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and guiding team members, participating in recruitment and training processes, and conducting regular performance evaluations.
Main Responsibilities- Team Leadership
- Supervise and guide team members to achieve department objectives;
- Participate in the recruitment process to identify and onboard new team members;
- Organize training and development sessions to enhance the skills of team members;
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of team members and provide constructive feedback.
- Energy Management Expertise
- Provide a quantitative approach to energy management;
- Implement optimisation and simulation tools to develop new economic models;
- Model the value of innovative products and analyze their impact;
- Develop and update models to analyze the electricity market;
- Provide business and strategic recommendations.
- Asset Optimisation
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of predictive forecasting models;
- Define and implement auction strategies;
- Responsible for the production deployment of new autobiders in collaboration with data engineer and IT;
- Identify, analyze and quantify the market risk of our production portfolio and develop hedging strategies.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in a relevant field such as mathematics, statistics or engineering;
- Proven experience in data analytics and energy management;
- Strong leadership and team management skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
The estimated salary for this position is €80,000-€110,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including health insurance, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development.
