Role Overview
Clear Ventures is in search of a dedicated individual to fill the role of Image Quality Assurance Engineer. This position entails overseeing the image quality evaluation of camera systems, setting up and managing image quality testing apparatus, and coordinating the IQ testing laboratory alongside fellow Test Engineers. The Image Quality Assurance Engineers form a vital part of a global, cross-disciplinary team committed to sustaining and enhancing the exceptional image quality that Clear Ventures' products are recognized for.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute image quality assessments according to established testing protocols.
- Conduct both objective and subjective evaluations of image quality.
- Gather video and photographic data in both field and laboratory settings.
- Establish and operate testing equipment, lighting sources, and related tools.
- Oversee the management of IQ laboratory equipment.
- Collaborate with fellow IQ Engineers and Automation Engineers for the development of testing strategies, scheduling, and equipment enhancements.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in image quality assessment, either in a testing capacity or through photography/videography.
- Familiarity with imaging technologies, image sensors, image processing, and standardized testing methodologies.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Prior experience in consumer product development is advantageous.
