The Energy team at oilandgas is part of ING Global Sector Coverage, covering the energy value chain, including Utilities, Power&Renewables, Biogas/Biofuel, Hydrocarbons, and new energy technologies. We are seeking a Junior Vice President to join our team in Paris, responsible for building client relationships, originating and executing corporate and project financings, and supervising the portfolio management team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building client relationships: co-managing multi-product relationships, growing business with French Energy clients across ING banking products and services.
  • New Deal Origination/Execution: origination of and/or participation in corporate and project financings related to all energy technologies.
  • Portfolio Management: supervising the portfolio management team and supporting in case of significant events on the loan portfolio.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant project and corporate finance experience in Energy transactions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Math.
  • Team player, self-motivated, high quality/high quantity producer, detail-oriented, and accurate.
  • Pro-active professional with a strong commercial drive, international experience, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, highly proficient in spoken and written French and English.
