Are You the Right Fit?
- Master's degree or equivalent educational background;
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in the field of IT security;
- In-depth knowledge of security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, SANS Top 20, OWASP, etc.;
- Experience in securing servers, network devices, and applications;
- Familiarity with network protocols and application communications;
- Proficiency in using network analysis tools;
- Experience in securing Unix and Windows systems;
- Understanding of network penetration testing;
- Experience in web application penetration testing;
- Prior experience in vulnerability assessments and security audits;
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISM, CISA, etc.);
- Comprehension of cybersecurity policies and standards applicable to European Institutions.
Please note that Security Clearance will be required upon project commencement.
We are currently seeking a Senior IT Security Testing Expert to join our Cyber Security Operations team, focusing on the domains of freedom, security, and justice.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Establishing security configuration and operational standards for security systems and applications;
- Assisting in the validation and review of security configurations and benchmarks;
- Conducting internal and external technical controls, vulnerability assessments, and security audits;
- Performing network and application penetration tests;
- Conducting source code reviews;
- Managing security monitoring and incident response;
- Contributing to security engineering initiatives;
- Participating in the design and implementation of technical security mechanisms and technologies.
This role requires physical presence in the designated location, and relocation may be necessary.
