About the Role:
Pernod Ricard, a leading company in the wine and spirits industry, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Raw Materials Sustainable Procurement Intern. This 6-month internship will provide the successful candidate with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sustainable procurement and contribute to the company's commitment to environmental and social responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Global Category Manager in developing and implementing sustainable procurement strategies for raw materials, focusing on traceability, certification, and ESG compliance.
- Collect and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sustainability roadmap, including raw material traceability, certification, and GHG reduction initiatives.
- Contribute to risk assessment and mitigation of key raw materials to environmental and social aspects, ensuring compliance with responsible procurement principles.
- Support the development of the global raw materials procurement strategy, including category management, supplier engagement, and contractualization for regenerative agriculture projects.
Requirements:
- Pursuing a Master's degree in agronomy, science, engineering, or sustainability.
- Proficient in data analysis and strong interest in sustainability principles.
- Previous experience in food engineering, agriculture, or equivalent fields, with a strong understanding of raw material sourcing and procurement.
- Fluent English language skills, with French as a plus.
