Quandela is a European startup specializing in photonic quantum computers that are modular, scalable, energy-efficient, and accessible via both cloud and on-premise solutions. Our team is dedicated to developing both software and hardware solutions for a variety of quantum applications. We provide a comprehensive range of services, from creating the most efficient and brightest single photon sources to developing algorithms for quantum computers and offering cloud quantum computing solutions.

The Role

We are looking for a proactive Cloud Quantum Computing Community Manager to play a crucial role in cultivating an engaged and dynamic quantum computing community.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Community Engagement:
  • Design and implement strategies to establish and nurture a vibrant Cloud quantum computing community.
  • Develop and maintain the Cloud Community Program, including audience personas, updated profiles, and preferences.
  • Build and sustain meaningful relationships with key stakeholders, including researchers, developers, influencers, and industry professionals. Keep a record of key stakeholders, their relationship status, and planned activities.
  • Manage communication touchpoints with the community (welcome, engagement, support level 1).
  • Actively engage in relevant forums, conferences, and events to represent the company and strengthen community connections.

2. Content Development:
  • Produce engaging content, such as blog posts, articles, and social media updates, to share insights, updates, and pertinent information with the community.
  • Collaborate with the solutions and engineering teams to create informative and educational materials that highlight the company's contributions to the quantum computing sector.

3. Education and Outreach:
  • Work with internal teams to create educational programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing awareness and understanding of quantum computing concepts.
  • Facilitate workshops, webinars, and training sessions to equip community members with the knowledge and skills necessary to utilize quantum computing technologies.
  • Assist in qualifying leads and accelerating opportunities.
  • Organize and facilitate Quandela Hackathons.
  • Develop and distribute the Community Newsletter.

4. Feedback Management:
  • Collect feedback from the community to understand their needs, concerns, and expectations.
  • Relay feedback to product development and research teams to support the continuous enhancement of our quantum computing solutions.

5. Event Coordination:
  • Plan and manage events, both virtual and in-person, to unite the quantum computing community.
  • Ensure a seamless and engaging experience for attendees, speakers, and sponsors.

Candidate Profile

You are an ideal candidate if you possess:
  • A Master's degree in Quantum Computing, with the ability to script and utilize quantum frameworks (Qiskit, Perceval, Pennylane).
  • Proven experience in community management, preferably within the technology or quantum computing sectors.
  • A strong grasp of quantum computing concepts and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, online forums, and other community engagement tools.
  • A passion for staying informed about the latest trends and advancements in quantum computing.

Track Record:
  • Demonstrated success in planning and executing community events.
  • Experience in quantum computing content creation and social media management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience in an educational or outreach capacity.
  • Familiarity with project management tools.
  • Ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Mission Duration: 1 year
