Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Voice Engineer to join our Operations team at Glocomms. As a Voice Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of production voice systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and Support Voice Systems: Ensure the stability and performance of voice systems in production.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Identify and resolve issues related to Cisco Call Manager and SIP technologies.
  • Implement and Manage Changes: Implement and manage changes in production systems within the framework of Business As Usual (BAU) operations.
  • Provide Call Support: Provide call support for voice system issues and incidents.
  • Follow Engineering Documentation: Follow engineering documentation and guidelines to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor and Manage Voice Recording Systems: Monitor and manage voice recording systems, including familiarity with SIP REC technology.
  • Assist in Integration and Management: Assist in the integration and management of ecosystem products and provisioning systems.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Team: Collaborate with the engineering team for knowledge transfer and implementation of new solutions.
  • Adhere to Cisco Best Practices: Adhere to Cisco best practices in all operational activities.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 Years of Experience: 5-8 years of experience in engineering and voice support.
  • Cisco Call Manager and SIP Experience: Hands-on experience with Cisco Call Manager and SIP technologies.
  • Strong Troubleshooting Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills and experience exchanging messages between SIP devices and routers.
  • Familiarity with Voice Recording Systems: Familiarity with voice recording systems and SIP REC technology is a plus.
  • Basic Knowledge of Oracle SBC and ECB: Basic knowledge of Oracle SBC and ECB components is an advantage.
  • Experience with Ecosystem Components: Experience with ecosystem components and provisioning systems like Kurmi is beneficial.
  • Ability to Manage Production Systems: Ability to manage production systems and provide on-call support.
  • Good Documentation Skills: Good documentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in English: Proficiency in English.
