**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer to join our team in France. The successful candidate will provide technical support and application expertise for our power network solutions to international customers.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide technical support and application expertise for OMICRON products and services within the power network sector.
- Contribute to the development of new products and product strategies.
- Observe and document customer and market requirements to inform product development.
- Participate in technical seminars, user meetings, conferences, and expositions.
- Troubleshoot technical problems for customer and sales support.
- Prepare and conduct customer visits with product demonstrations.
- Carry out measurements and lead customer training sessions.
**Requirements**
- Professional technical education in electrical engineering.
- Several years of practical experience in power systems, particularly in primary apparatus (CT, VT, Power Transformers, and Breakers).
- Experience with OMICRON products and knowledge of their application.
- Prior customer support experience and strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proactive and team-oriented with excellent command of written and spoken French and English.
- Flexible and willing to travel (up to 50%) in France and occasionally abroad.
