At BluePearl Pet Hospital, we are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic Emergency and Critical Care team in Blaine, MN.

We offer a fast-paced and learning environment where you can utilize your skills and expand your knowledge alongside talented veterinary professionals.

As an Emergency Veterinary Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Inducing, monitoring, and recovering anesthesia in patients, utilizing anesthesia/monitoring equipment.
  • Triage emergency cases, obtaining vitals, and alerting veterinarians to changes and issues.
  • Performing digital radiography, including proper patient positioning.
  • Understanding normal patient vital signs and interpreting blood pressure and other vital signs.
  • Initiating CPR and administering medications via appropriate routes and duration.
  • Placing and maintaining feeding tubes and central line catheters.
  • Mentoring and training coworkers, addressing client concerns with patience and empathy.

**Pay:** $ - $ / hour

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through CareerTrax leveling system.

Candidates with VTS credentialing are eligible for compensation commensurate with experience.
