Branch Manager Position

The Branch Manager plays a crucial role in meeting the goals of Design Air, LLC related to customer service, branch profitability, and safety. As a key member of the team, you will work with your colleagues to provide reliable and exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels within the warehouse and showroom.
  • Guide all operational functions and activities of the branch.
  • Manage/improve productivity and efficiency at all levels.
  • Organize and maintain a positive showroom appearance.
  • Assist Human Resources with recruiting and onboarding process.
  • Stay knowledgeable on technical developments and changes in product lines.
  • Monitor competitive threats and discuss proper response with Operations Manager.
  • Understand and report P&L information for the company location.
  • Lead a diversified work force.
  • Conduct oneself in a professional and courteous manner in all aspects of interaction with contractors, vendors, and employees.
  • Manage staff and assign duties accordingly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of operational experience required, preferably within the HVAC industry.
  • Associate degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs. on a regular basis and operate warehouse machinery is required.
  • 2-3 years of managerial experience preferred.
  • Proven success in sales, operations, or purchasing.
  • Strong inventory management skills to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize loss.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • High level of organization and follow through.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Prophet 21 is preferred.
