Within this group, Petercem Switches is a 60-person SME based in the Lyon region. We design and manufacture products integrated into harsh environments such as aerospace, defense, and nuclear. Our products are switches: micro-mechanical, very close to watchmaking in design with a lot of manual assembly.

Petercem Switches is experiencing significant growth with major industrialization challenges. To support us in these industrial transformations and ensure our growth, we are looking for an alternating candidate who will be attached to the industrialization and methods department (a department also in full growth and evolution).

The Role:

• Documenting work processes and best practice checklists for the Methods department and certain standard company operations.
• Implementing the procedure for creating the Methods FAQ and creating its support.
• Mapping the machine park and tools with analysis of industrial risk (obsolescence, scrap risk, capacity vision...), proposing optimization or automation. Depending on the skills of the intern, the mission may include design and/or project monitoring for the start-up of certain resources.
• Improving tool management in our ERP.
• Optimizing certain production flows and steps (Lean methodology, updating operating methods).

Profile:

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic candidate, holder of a Bac +3 in GEII+ GMP, wishing to continue their studies in an engineering school.

You must have project management skills, be comfortable with computer tools, and have a good level of French.
