Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Fundraising Specialist to join our team in Paris, France. As a PSP Individual Giving Associate (Digital), you will be responsible for delivering fundraising digital campaigns and email, especially to support UNHCR/Acquisition and PSP donor retention programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the creation of annual plans for acquisition and donor development programs.
- Develop, manage, and improve donor servicing and communications to provide a best-in-class donor care.
- Work with marketing agencies to develop contact strategies and donor journeys for different segments of the database.
- Implement the National Growth Fund related to IG programs to secure funding to increase and diversify the donor base.
- Manage the CRM lead and investigate opportunities for lead generation and donors' acquisition.
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary education (high school diploma) preferably with UNESCO accredited university degree in private sector fundraising, sales, client/donor communication, marketing, or journalism.
- Minimum 3 years of previous job experience with secondary education/high school or minimum 2 years of previous job experience with Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree.
- Proven experience working in donor retention/development programs.
- Experience in coordination and supervision of fundraising campaigns in profit or non-profit industry.
- Experience in fundraising-related databases and software.
- Experience in data analysis and segmentation.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience with the non-profit sector.
- Experience in supervising database migration and setting up a Contact Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Experience in project management.
- Experience in managing agencies/vendors/clients.
- Experience in Private Sector Fundraising.
- Experience in fundraising Face2Face, digital, emergency, DRTV, e-Fundraising.
- Experience with online communications, web-based marketing, and fundraising contents.
Language: Fluency in French and English (oral, written, comprehension) is mandatory.
Location: The successful candidate will be based with the team in UNHCR's office in Paris, France.
Conditions: The position is associated with a temporary contract (as maternity replacement capacity), valid until end of the year, with further extension until end of July 2025. It is a full-time role with working hours starting from 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week).
