We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Governance and Control Expert to join our team at AXA. As a key member of our Group Underwriting Office department, you will play a critical role in establishing, enabling, and driving profit and growth through Product Underwriting Strategy, Portfolio Design, and Technical Underwriting Excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Implement a state-of-the-art governance and control framework for underwriting to ensure compliance and risk management.
- Participate in In-Depth Reviews (IDR) & Technical Reviews (TR) within your scope of responsibilities to assess and enhance underwriting control measures.
- Launch governance and control programs based on monitoring results to continuously improve and strengthen underwriting processes.
- Monitor and steer portfolio profitability from a governance and control perspective, ensuring adherence to underwriting guidelines and standards.
- Reduce underwriting leakage and deploy distribution coverage analysis at the entity level to enhance control and governance over underwriting practices.
- Utilize internal and external data, including innovative technologies, for underwriting purposes with a strong emphasis on control and governance aspects.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop a comprehensive understanding of governance and control management, ensuring alignment and collaboration across the organization to uphold underwriting standards and governance.
