Job DescriptionWe're seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data science team, you'll design, deploy, monitor, maintain, and improve machine learning and deep learning models in production. You'll collaborate with our Engineering team to achieve this goal.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop machine learning and deep learning models to optimize user conversion, churn, app recommendation, and user segmentation.
- Perform custom analyses to provide insights to stakeholders, including investigating performance shifts, A/B testing, evaluating business potential, and presale analysis.
- Mentor a junior Machine Learning Engineer.
Requirements:
- Master's degree or PhD in STEM, preferably with a statistics focus.
- 5+ years of experience working in teams using data science to power a core company product or service.
- Applied experience with machine learning on large datasets.
- Mathematical skills, including understanding and applying theoretical concepts of probability, statistical learning, and optimization.
- ML skills, including proficiency in querying, structuring, and processing qualitative or quantitative data to draw insightful business conclusions.
- Technical skills, including proficiency in Python, pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and experience with PySpark or Scala.
- Main soft skills, including being a fast learner, autonomous, team player, creative, practical, and business-oriented.
- Communication skills, including speaking and writing clearly and concisely in English and French.
