Senior Financial Accountant (F/M)

Your Responsibilities: What You Will Be Doing

  • Collaborate within the Finance division, reporting directly to the Financial Manager, and engage in the accounting operations of our two manufacturing facilities in France.
  • Accountable for documenting financial transactions in accordance with both US-GAAP and French GAAP regulations.
  • Oversee the management of fixed assets across both accounting frameworks.
  • Execute monthly, quarterly, or annual financial closings within an international corporate environment, adhering to strict deadlines during the initial week of each month.
  • Conduct monthly evaluations of the income statement and balance sheet, working closely with other financial streams within the organization.
  • Calculate various taxes, including VAT, and prepare the necessary tax documentation.
  • Participate in internal audits related to general accounting, develop procedural documentation, implement controls, and automate specific reporting files.

Your Profile: What Makes You Stand Out

  • Preferably possess an accounting qualification (BTS Comptabilité or DCG) with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a comparable role.
  • Proficient in using financial software, with experience in Oracle or SAP ERP systems.
  • Capable of communicating effectively in English with our Shared Service Center located in England.
  • Self-sufficient, meticulous, organized, and adaptable, with a passion for teamwork in a global setting.
