Product Line Manager

Edmund Optics, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Product Line Manager to lead the development and execution of our strategic optics product line. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with our company's technological vision and core competencies.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a product strategy that drives customer acquisition and retention efforts, while ensuring profitable growth of our standard and custom product business.
- Manage the strategic and tactical development of optics, including expanding existing standard product families, gathering market and application information from customers, and selecting new products and custom capabilities.
- Align with the entire Strategic Optics team to determine the future of the market and drive business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, marketing, R&D, sales, applications engineering, and design engineering to develop objectives, presentations, and financial proposals for new product initiatives.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
- Two (2) years of experience in application engineering, manufacturing engineering, product line engineering, and/or managing products in the optics field.
- Strong optics product, manufacturing, and technology knowledge.
- High level of personal initiative, analytical skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills, leadership skills, and ability to motivate and train people.
- Ability to manage a heavy workload of multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving and creative thinking capabilities.
- Comfortable with MS Office software and willingness to travel occasionally.
