Materials Handler

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Materials Handler to join our team at Dover Corporation. As a Materials Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Unload and inspect incoming shipments to ensure accurate and complete inventory.
2. Transfer materials from receiving to production areas using a forklift or other equipment.
3. Assist in preparing and planning for company inventories and audits.
4. Participate in physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
5. Transfer inventory with DSI to maintain location and inventory levels.
6. Verify and package contents of outbound shipments to sales orders.
7. Palletize and load outbound freight onto LTL trailers.

Requirements:

1. High School diploma or equivalent required.
2. Ability to understand general arithmetic and write in an understandable manner.
3. Ability to read and understand instructions, lists, and billing materials.
4. Use of PC-based applications, including Mainstar, Outlook, and Microsoft Office.
5. Mental and physical demands include normal attention with periods of high concentration, walking/standing, lifting up to 40 pounds, and repetitive overhead work.

Working Conditions:

The Materials Handler will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with exposure to plant environments, including dust, fumes, noise, and fluctuating temperatures.
