About Our Division
Within the Information Systems and Operations Division, you will become part of one of Generali's key units in France, which has substantial budgets allocated for innovation and the execution of strategic IT transformation projects. Over 1000 professionals are engaged in this division, which has significantly revamped the delivery of technological services at Generali France over the past five years, enabling business lines to outperform the market in both growth and customer satisfaction.
You will join the Technological Solutions Division and actively contribute to its mission of serving the business lines of Generali. This technology, data, and innovation-oriented entity, comprising 300 team members, operationalizes the company's COO strategy by constructing and managing the application roadmap across the entire business value chain (Front to Back). The Technological Solutions team fosters a culture of initiative, encourages innovative thinking, and promotes a daily commitment to business performance (Operational Efficiency, Time to Market).
Key Responsibilities
You will operate within the Operations department, which delivers and manages IT solutions that track customer requests from start to finish.
Your contributions will be vital in transforming the information system within this scope by implementing new solutions.
As a Technical Specialist, you will ensure the technical coherence of the implemented solutions, participate in the development of release plans, and prepare delivery operations by establishing the necessary frameworks.
You will identify actions and remediation plans concerning security and obsolescence of solutions and propose action plans to modernize these solutions.
Your activities as a Technical Specialist will include:
- Analyzing specifications and business requests
- Designing IT solutions and challenging business needs
- Preparing release plans
- Identifying remediation/security/obsolescence needs and estimating impacts
- Participating in the preparation and execution of delivery operations
- Engaging in analyses during malfunctions or incidents and proposing action plans
- Evaluating project stakes and risks with project managers
- Providing regular reporting on the progress and control of activities
- Delivering projects while adhering to established processes regarding architecture, security, and quality
Desired Profile
- Master's degree (engineering or university) with a minimum of 5 years of experience
- Analytical skills to identify high-value improvement areas
- Autonomy, initiative, teamwork spirit, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of the insurance sector
- Familiarity with Java, .Net, Citrix, and Mainframe environments
