A leading player in the Oil & Gas sector is seeking a Subsea UFR Project Coordinator for a contract position:
Reporting to the GPI UFR Package Manager, the successful candidate will support the Subsea and UFR Package Manager in overseeing the operations within the UFR Package. This role involves coordinating all activities with contractors, facilitating meetings, conducting reviews, managing deviations, and providing technical clarifications. The coordinator will also manage interfaces with other packages, assist the UFR team with technical recommendations, and ensure the timely delivery of the UFR Package while offering effective support to the overall project UFR team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exhibit exemplary behavior concerning Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
- Implement HSE protocols within the designated area of responsibility.
- Provide assistance to the UFR team as needed.
- Maintain regular communication with relevant headquarters and affiliate entities regarding UFR Package Manager requests.
- Manage interfaces with all other related packages (Drilling, SPS, FPSO, and Field Operations).
- Organize and engage in weekly and monthly progress meetings.
- Develop internal procedures as necessary.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of the UFR Package planning.
- Prepare the Project Execution Plan for the UFR Package alongside the UFR Package Manager.
- Organize and participate in Project Reviews, including Project Technical Reviews (PTR).
- Communicate with the UFR contractor's team and third parties to address daily challenges.
- Anticipate potential issues in the area of responsibility and propose solutions or optimizations to the UFR Technical Leader and UFR Package Manager.
- Ensure continuity of operations during the absence of the UFR Package Manager or UFR Technical Lead.
- Follow up on specific subjects as directed by the UFR Package Manager.
- Reporting & Communication: Ensure timely and adequate reporting of UFR Package activities.
- Assist the UFR Manager in maintaining relations with concessionaires and partners regarding UFR matters, and prepare for participation in workshops and committees as required.
- Ensure confidentiality of all produced documentation.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Strong inclination towards project management.
- Extensive experience in the study and execution phases of large offshore oil and gas projects, particularly in UFR engineering, construction, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Proficient in technical management and adept at multitasking.
- Strong team spirit with the ability to manage relationships effectively with both internal and external teams.
- Possess a synthesis mindset and problem-solving skills for technical challenges.
- Consistently aware of GPI/Project activities.
- Attentive to GPI/Project needs and committed to process improvement.
- Autonomous, proactive, and energetic.
- Fluent in English.
