We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Casualty Underwriting professional to join our team as Head of Casualty Underwriting. This is a key leadership role that will be responsible for driving the growth and profitability of our Casualty business in Continental Europe.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the underwriting strategy for Casualty business in Continental Europe, in line with the company's overall underwriting strategy.
- Lead a team of underwriters to achieve business growth and profitability targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, clients, and other stakeholders to drive business development and retention.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to inform underwriting decisions.
- Collaborate with the actuarial team to ensure accurate pricing and risk assessment.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the European Casualty market, including competitor profiles and product offerings.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure the team is equipped to deliver exceptional underwriting services.
- Significant experience in Casualty underwriting, with a strong track record of business growth and profitability.
