Position: Nuclear Safety Specialist
Orano Group is seeking dedicated professionals to enhance our Nuclear Safety Engineering team. As a Nuclear Safety Specialist, your role will encompass engaging in the design decisions of various initiatives, formulating safety input data, executing safety evaluations, and drafting compliance documents for regulatory bodies. You will also participate in discussions with stakeholders, oversee safety requirements, and work in conjunction with other engineering sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with various disciplines in project design deliberations
- Develop and oversee project safety input data
- Perform safety evaluations and create compliance documentation
- Monitor and manage safety requirements
- Take part in document review discussions with stakeholders
Daily Duties:
- Draft Safety Evaluations and Reports
- Coordinate with other engineering sectors
Additionally, you may be required to attend project status meetings with stakeholders and provide regular updates to the project management team. Occasional travel to different company facilities for training purposes may be necessary during the onboarding phase.
