Job Title: Data Portfolio AnalystWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Portfolio Analyst to join our Business Performance team in the P&C Commercial Line Group Underwriting Office. As a key contributor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring data assets meet objectives in terms of Quality, Timeline & Benefits.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Support P&C CL Underwriting teams in implementing data framework/governance in various P&C business processes, including P&C Technical Performance Monitoring, Natural Catastrophes data Management, and Energy Transition & Sustainability.
- Lead/participate in transversal projects & use cases related to Data Mesh and Gen AI, and serve as a Data Governance referent, working closely with Data Owners and Data Stewards to ensure data framework enforcement.
- Perform data cartography and mapping exercises with business teams to document relevant processes, technical storage items, and relevant data for our data governance framework.
- Collaborate with data transversal stakeholders to ensure global alignment on data policy and effective usage by P&C CL operational teams.
- Master tool capabilities from end-user and admin perspectives, including browsing, search, views, import/export data, data quality review, and access rights management.
- Promote data culture across Group Underwriting Office and contribute to data maturity improvement through diverse communication formats and events.
- Master's degree in business or engineering with a business data orientation.
- Around 3 to 5 years' experience as a Data/BI business analyst, preferably in Insurance and/or Consulting.
- Knowledge in data projects management, ideally in major and multi-cultural organizations with large-scale data.
- Fluency in English, verbal and written.
- Good data processing/visualization and technical skills, with confirmed knowledge of Excel, SQL, BI tools (e.g., PowerBI & Tableau), Python, R.
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Package.
- Inquisitive mind with compelling analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to work with a globally located and cross-functional team, with an entrepreneurial spirit and ambition to drive change.
