The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a permanent monitoring and assessment of the security situation in the country, reviewing and implementing our security management guidelines and protocols, and advising our Country Director and Senior Management Team on all issues of safety and security.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily security management of all Acted premises and project sites
- Ensure a permanent monitoring and assessment of the security situation in country
- Review and implement Acted security management guidelines and protocols
- Advise the Country Director and Senior Management Team on all issues of safety and security
- Provide appropriate security training and mentoring
- Extensive experience in security management and procedures
- Ability to train, mobilize, and manage both international and national staff
- Flexibility and ability to multi-task under pressure
- Willingness to work and live in often remote areas under basic conditions
- Proven ability to work creatively and independently both in the field and in the office
- Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English
- Salary between 2800 and 4000€ monthly (before income tax)
- Monthly living allowance of $300
- Accommodation and food provided in Acted guesthouse
- Pension, health insurance, life insurance, and repatriation assistance
- Contribution to the luggage transportation: up to 100 kgs, depending on the length of the contract
- One week pre-departure training in Acted HQ, including a 4-days in situ security training
