Role Profile

LCH SA is responsible for clearing services for its members and clients. The IT department develops and maintains IT applications that manage the entire clearing process.

Department Description

The IT Shared Apps department is responsible for all transversal applications used within the clearing house. The team develops, tests, deploys, and supports the technology for LCH business services.

Team Description

The IT team is responsible for developing, testing, deploying, and supporting the technology for LCH business services. The systems enable overnight and intraday margin calculations for members and provide reports to members and regulators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage IT and member test environments
  • Validate updates of application user guides following releases
  • Test and validate fixes and enhancements on IT Shared Apps applications
  • Validate and historize test results
  • Automate end-to-end testing
  • Accompany IT Shared Apps projects to ensure testing perimeter is up to date
  • Be the point of contact for IT Shared Apps teams on testing and release management
  • Define test use cases for IT Shared Apps applications
  • Provide support during member test campaigns
  • Provide frequent statuses on testing perimeter and topics led
  • Organize and lead the Release Management & Testing team
  • Provide action and remediation plans when necessary
  • Participate in performance reviews with the IT Shared Apps Director
  • Participate in recruitment and ensure integration of new joiners in the team
  • Participate in and be responsible for the construction, run, and delivery of the team's pole (planning, resources, budget)
  • Organize governance of initiatives and coordinate with internal and external participants to ensure deliveries and budget deadlines
Candidate Profile / Key Skills
  • At least 3 years' experience in team management in banking and/or financial markets perimeters
  • At least 5 years' experience in business analysis or testing in banking and/or financial markets perimeters
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills
  • Proactive and clear communicator who demonstrates initiative and escalates issues quickly when required
  • Strong understanding of control environments applicable in the regulated Financial Services industry
  • Awareness of Agile methodology standards and process

  • Strong verbal and written English skills
