We are currently seeking skilled asphalt finishing machine operators for our esteemed client in the public works sector. In this role, you will operate under the guidance of the asphalt application supervisor, and your key responsibilities will include:

  • Calibrating the finishing machine for optimal performance
  • Setting and communicating operational speeds to the driver
  • Adjusting the machine's width and slopes as required
  • Monitoring the quality of thickness, slopes, and overall appearance
  • Working closely with the application supervisor to meet quality and profitability targets
  • Conducting daily maintenance and servicing of the finishing machine
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations on construction sites

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a finishing machine operator
  • Expertise in asphalt application techniques or precision finishing work
  • CACES certification for finishing machine operation or equivalent heavy machinery license
  • Additional SPL license is advantageous
