Job Summary
The Business Relationship Manager will be responsible for ensuring effective liaison between the SAP/Ivalua IT teams and business stakeholders. This role will be a key interface between the IT department and the business, ensuring that IT projects are aligned with business objectives and needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Liaison
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across various business departments to ensure collaboration and alignment of objectives.
- Lead the network of Business Users for the SAP/Ivalua solutions and promote the role of Business Liaison.
- Communication and Training
- Develop and implement effective communication plans to inform and educate stakeholders on IT projects, updates, and achievements.
- Ensure the dissemination of relevant information to various stakeholders through various communication channels (newsletters, sharing meetings, etc.).
- Organize and facilitate meetings, workshops, and training sessions to facilitate communication and collaboration between IT teams and business departments.
- Manage the documentation fund of the SAP/Ivalua Competence Center (project deliverables, PAQ, training support, etc.).
- Business Vision Alignment
- Organize business need collections, initiate Project Initiation Documents (PID), and pilot their co-construction with the business until validation.
- Contribute to the monitoring of project performance (cost, business value, deadline, quality, and respect for the project methodology) on the business vision, and recommend improvements to optimize their efficiency and alignment with company objectives, and ensure partner business satisfaction.
- Lead the Change Management on all projects of the SAP/Ivalua Competence Center.
- Provide methodological support to SAP/Ivalua Competence Center projects.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Deep knowledge of project management methodologies. An advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Prince2 or PMI) are a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP environments, including main SAP modules (FI/CO/PS/SD/MM/HR) and the challenges of the Accounting and Control of Management or Finance function.
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within an SAP IT team or a complex IT project environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong relationship management skills and ability to work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to make informed decisions.
