Energy Flexibility Research Specialist

Lane Clark & Peacock LLP is seeking an experienced Energy Flexibility Research Specialist to play a key role in our flexibility service and support our future growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, lead, and deliver cutting-edge research and consultancy projects in the energy flexibility space.
- Build relationships with a range of industry players and support the development of LCP Delta's flexibility research activities and capabilities.
LCP Delta's consultancy team provides services to a range of our existing research clients and new clients. We have delivered projects for over 100 organisations covering network companies, energy suppliers, policy makers, manufacturers, technology companies, and investors and new entrants.
- Market analysis and forecasts.
- Propositions and customer research.
- Strategy and Innovation.
- Energy demand forecasting and modelling.
- Supporting clients make effective strategic decisions and innovate for competitive advantage.
- Technology and Product analysis.
- A strong background and experience of working in energy flexibility.
- A solid understanding of the regulatory environment for flexibility, participation in ancillary services markets, spot wholesale markets, and other revenue opportunities for flexibility.
- Excellent project management skills and experience in leading and managing teams to deliver research or consultancy projects.
- Excellent client management and relationship-building skills.
- Thought leadership and strong analytical skills – an ability to simplify complexity.
- Team player – collaborative, setting standards, building relationships, providing feedback.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage a varied workload and multiple deadlines.
- A desire to learn from, listen to, and understand industry contacts.
- Evidence of your ability in a variety of research methods, including face-to-face and telephone discussion with industry experts and other professionals.
- The ability to develop relationships with new industry contacts/clients and to understand their needs.
