Mission Description

Stellantis's Software Organization (SWx) is dedicated to creating innovative experiences at the forefront of Automotive Technology.

We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Cloud Virtualization Engineer who will be responsible for designing and implementing virtual Electronic Control Units (ECUs) that are native to cloud environments. The primary focus will be on the development of virtualization technologies, methodologies, and cloud platforms to ensure secure and efficient operations.
These virtual ECUs will be integrated into virtual testing platforms (xIL) for next-generation vehicle controller testing across various domains, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Energy, E-Powertrain, and Body, Cockpit, and Connected services.
A successful candidate will possess a robust understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Xen, along with proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Familiarity with networking, storage, and security concepts in virtualized and cloud environments is essential. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability to emerging technologies, and a collaborative spirit to foster innovation and efficiency.
The position also entails close collaboration with software architects, development teams, and suppliers delivering embedded software artifacts.

Position Requirements:
You will join a global software-driven engineering organization characterized by a modern agile culture. We seek highly motivated Cloud Virtualization Engineers to work alongside software architects and development engineers within agile teams from the initial design phase through to validation. This innovative testing approach begins at day one, focusing not only on testing implementations and requirements but also on challenging design and logical architecture in the earliest phases, driven by a test-first mentality.

In addition to this proactive approach, we value knowledge in the following areas:

● Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
● Model-Based Design (MBD)
● Virtual and Soft ECU Technologies
● Software Verification and Validation Methods
You will have the opportunity to set new benchmarks in virtualization technologies, troubleshooting, issue resolution, automation, and methodologies by advancing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices at all abstraction levels, from continuous design verification to continuous testing and deployment in highly virtualized environments. You will be part of an interdisciplinary agile team focused on designing and applying agile methods for new and advanced features, including ADAS and Electric Vehicle (EV) systems.
