Role Overview:

As a Lead Backend Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining essential features that enhance customer value through voice technology.

Your daily responsibilities will include advocating for best practices and mentoring fellow engineers across the organization.

Utilizing a range of backend technologies tailored to specific requirements, all hosted on AWS, you will create resilient services that integrate seamlessly with our clients' critical business tools (CRM, Helpdesk, E-Commerce, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in requirements analysis to provide effective technical and business solutions for our clients.
  • Take on significant responsibilities in the design, architecture, and comprehensive delivery of key modules.
  • Develop clean, scalable code and oversee the testing and deployment of applications and systems.
  • Revise, update, refactor, and troubleshoot code as necessary.
  • Contribute to an engineering organization focused on delivering high-quality, secure voice solutions to our clients.
  • Participate in product and platform performance optimization and live site monitoring.
  • Mentor and support team members in their professional growth.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • A minimum of 6+ years of experience in backend development using a strongly typed language, with a focus on Typescript, emphasizing security, scalability, availability, and performance.
  • Extensive experience with AWS in a production setting, with a deep understanding of how to design, deploy, and optimize solutions within the AWS ecosystem.
  • Ability to discuss AWS offerings confidently and explain their use cases to junior engineers.
  • Familiarity with serverless architectures and infrastructure as code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • A strong commitment to security in all aspects of development.
  • Experience with GraphQL is a significant advantage.
