About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Manager to join our team at Getaround. As a Pricing Manager, you will play a critical role in maximizing long-term revenue on our marketplace, ensuring that all parties involved are satisfied with the pricing strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to ensure total price competitiveness, financial interest for owners, and profitability and growth of Getaround marketplace revenue.
  • Conduct revenue management analysis to ensure weekly price positioning is optimal for various rental segments of demand.
  • Collaborate with the Product and Data Science departments to challenge our current pricing structure and pricing models.
  • Participate in the roadmapping process of pricing, creating business needs, evaluating expected revenue impact, and prioritizing projects.
  • Contribute to weekly revenue forecast and annual budget, explaining performance to the Head of Pricing and other business teams.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Business Units, and Product to evolve commercial policies, such as extension policy, commissions policy, fees, and communication on pricing.
  • Work with the Head of Pricing & Commercial Policy to identify new revenue growth potentials for the company.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in pricing/revenue management.
  • Strong quantitative skills, with a good understanding of data and marketing aspects of pricing and yield management.
  • Strong analytical skills to understand market trends, competitive environment, and perform precise analysis.
  • Knowledge of database query languages (SQL) and/or data visualization tools (Tableau) is a plus.
  • Experience with pricing at a marketplace is a plus.
  • Excellent level of English.
