Our goal is to explore new ideas and technologies, create products that meet the evolving needs of the digital payments space, and ensure our continued growth and relevance. You'll work with cross-functional teams, including product management, to define and design loosely coupled, scalable systems in a wider microservices architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive specific projects critical to Checkout's needs
  • Foster innovation and develop pioneering solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design scalable systems
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies used by Checkout
  • Mentor junior team members and assist in their technical development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Proficiency in a modern tech stack (Typescript, Python, etc) with a strong understanding of software development principles
  • Proficiency in mobile technologies like Kotlin, Swift or Hybrid
  • Experience in web & mobile application design and state management solutions
  • Great communication skills and ability to interact effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience working in agile environments and delivering high-quality code within tight deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
