About the Role

The Quality Client Engineer is a key contributor to achieving a satisfactory partnership level with clients. This role is responsible for specifying products, contributing to fulfilling missions with specific expertise: production processes, product quality development, food safety, regulations, microbiology, contaminants, etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain high-quality relationships with key accounts and anticipate their needs.
  • Be the primary point of contact for production sites and central services (marketing, sales, logistics, etc.) regarding quality matters for their product portfolio.
  • Contribute to developing a quality and food safety culture during product development, launch, and follow-up.
  • Ensure that product specifications and control plans meet quality and food safety requirements, as well as client expectations and regulatory requirements.
  • Negotiate client expectations regarding overall quality and product quality.
  • Support production sites during client audits and visits, and participate in defining action plans.
  • Actively contribute to resolving quality and food safety-related issues.
  • Participate in quality department projects.

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    • A degree in Agro-Food Engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in infant nutrition (powder process).
    • Good knowledge of quality and food safety, quality management (HACCP, certifications, etc.), project management, similar production processes, dairy industry, etc.
    • Microbiological and/or contaminant expertise is an asset.
    • Fluency in English is essential.
    • Proficiency in computer tools, particularly SAP and Excel.
    • A proactive attitude, strong willingness to learn, and ability to communicate technical information effectively to people with varying levels of knowledge.
