The Opportunity

Our Technology and Operations divisions, including Group Security, are pivotal in delivering on our commitments to clients. This is where cutting-edge transactions are processed and the future of payment solutions is being developed.
Reporting directly to the head of Group Security GRC, the Security Incident Officer is responsible for overseeing the execution of security incident management protocols, drawing insights from past incidents. This role also supports major incident management efforts related to cybersecurity.
The ideal candidate will engage daily with Security Officers and the Worldline Security Incident Response Team, facilitating the Group Security Organization's coordination of cross-functional initiatives with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain comprehensive documentation of the security incident management process, including reporting obligations related to security issues. Regularly engage with the security community, offering guidance and support to Security Governance, Security Officers, PCI officers, Cyber Defense Center (CSIRT), and other Subject Matter Experts. Monitor security incidents and collaborate with Security Officers to implement improvement plans. Provide updates on security incidents to Group leadership, ensuring clear communication and compliance with reporting obligations. Oversee the emergency patching process for critical vulnerabilities. Organize and define regular testing of incident response processes with security and operational teams, enhancing awareness and training for managing significant cyber events. Actively participate in the management of Major Security Incidents across Worldline, focusing on coordination, reporting, and communication. Review on-duty activities within the security team.Candidate Profile
Exceptional communication skills with a strong command of spoken and written English. Technical expertise with a solid understanding of security principles and their practical applications. A proactive approach to enhancing security processes and implementing best practices, fostering security awareness and overall security measures. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, adapting to shifting priorities and personal interaction styles. Capacity to perform under pressure and navigate ambiguous situations. Proficiency in security concepts and best practices related to incident management, threat, and vulnerability management. Capability to collaborate with technical teams and provide accurate, tailored summaries to management. Skilled in managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment to resolve high-priority tasks effectively. Eagerness to learn, develop, and advance professionally.
