About the Role

The Operational Excellence Manager will drive performance improvement for Sugar Division factories, supporting the implementation of change and the development of a culture of continuous improvement to achieve sustainable results through the application of methodologies, prioritization, benefit assessment, and sharing of best practices for the division.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Management and implementation of improvement projects in and in cooperation with the local improvement organization on site
  • Coaching, training, and supporting local teams on complex improvement and change initiatives; supporting OPTIMUM projects within the organization and facilitating implementation actions
  • Developing and coordinating the introduction of standards and guidelines relating to OPTIMUM methods and processes
  • Spreading the continuous improvement culture and building the division-wide OPTIMUM community and a Sugar Division network for continuous improvement

Your Profile

  • Proven experience in Lean Management and/or Lean Six Sigma
  • Effective interpersonal skills in a multinational environment
  • Passion to get the best out of people by creating resonance with an emotionally intelligent leadership style, developing their skills to encourage intrinsic passion, including strong coaching skills
  • Execution-oriented, with a strong sense of focus, prioritization, and urgency to deliver tangible results
  • Proactive with a strong desire to drive change, self-motivated to exceed expectations
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional analytical project management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English and German
  • Ability to interact with all levels within the organization
  • Willingness to travel in Europe (up to 50%)
