Position: Architect for Complex Industrial Systems
Role Overview:
- Oversee system engineering aspects, both functional and technical.
- Implement cost-effective design strategies.
- Engage in comprehensive modeling activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the technical architecture of solutions to maintain alignment with established objectives.
- Assist in the development of specifications for subsystems.
- Supervise the architecture development for innovative transportation systems.
- Establish design methodologies tailored to various project stages, emphasizing cost efficiency.
- Conduct effective meetings focused on design cost considerations.
- Specify performance expectations for the system regarding cost, speed, capacity, energy efficiency, availability, and maintainability.
- Utilize the Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approach for functional modeling and quality integration.
- Manage project risks throughout all phases, from initiation to post-implementation.
- Economically assess the deployed system based on results from each phase.
- Ensure high standards of documentation and data traceability.
Qualifications:
- Engineering degree or equivalent with at least ten years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in automotive and railway system architecture, including subsystem development and manufacturing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective technical communication with clients and industry stakeholders.
- Collaborative team member known for diligence and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to lead strategic discussions.
- Familiarity with modeling tools (such as Capella), simulation software (like Matlab), and project management techniques.
