Job Overview

The organization operates multiple EHPAD facilities and a Temporary Reception House. In your role within an EHPAD, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the health and independence of residents through the provision of comprehensive care. You will tailor your approach to meet the unique needs of each individual and implement strategies for health promotion and disease prevention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer medical care in accordance with physician directives
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations
  • Utilize active listening techniques to help residents articulate their needs, concerns, and discomfort
  • Execute the nursing care process:

Assess residents' requirements and evaluate their conditions

Formulate nursing diagnoses and establish care objectives

Create action plans for nursing assistants

Maintain and manage nursing documentation

Review the care provided by nursing assistants

Conduct weekly checks of medication dispensers

Ensure adherence to hygiene, aseptic, and safety protocols

Engage in assessments of residents' dependency levels

Gather and relay test results to appropriate medical professionals

Facilitate staff handover meetings

Communicate significant health changes to families

Contribute to individualized care plans

Implement preventive health measures

Provide clear work schedules for substitute staff

Oversee nursing students and social work interns

Manage inventory of medical supplies

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers

Advocate for high-quality care and effective risk management practices
