Connectivity Solutions Validation Specialist

SUMMARY

Located within Qorvo's Connectivity Systems Business Unit, the Connectivity Solutions Validation Specialist will play a crucial role in the system validation and troubleshooting of UWB, BLE, and MATTER technologies tailored for Qorvo's connectivity offerings. This position requires close collaboration with product definition and solution architecture teams, as well as software development and integration groups.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement the product validation strategy.
  • Create comprehensive End-to-End Test Plans and establish Product Key Performance Indicators in conjunction with Product Validation & Certification Strategy and Solution Architects.
  • Collaborate with partners to establish joint End-to-End validation setups.
  • Conduct integration and testing of systems that incorporate Qorvo's UWB and BLE modem chipsets.
  • Identify and categorize bugs, submitting tickets to hardware and software development teams.
  • Engage in plug fests and certification initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a Master's in Electronic/Software/RF engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and/or Python programming languages.
  • Technical expertise in embedded systems, digital, network, and RF software layers.
  • Familiarity with real-time firmware development and telecom algorithm implementation on MCU and real-time OS platforms.
  • Experience with network MAC, security, and radio communication software layers (e.g., FiRa, NFC, Secure Elements) is highly advantageous.
  • Understanding of system testing methodologies.
  • Android experience is a significant plus (Kernel, HAL, Android flow, Java/Apk).
  • Capability to interpret hardware schematics and utilize oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and RF testing equipment.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Enjoys engaging in complex projects that involve multiple stakeholders and work packages across various teams.
  • Experience working in diverse cultural environments.
  • A proactive problem-solving attitude with a strong commitment to customer success.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 20% of the time).
  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication and reporting skills.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
